POPIA Compliance

We process your personal information on the basis of the consent you give when you tick the consent box and submit the quote form. That consent covers one thing: being contacted by a licensed advisor about life cover options relevant to the details you supplied.

We do not send unsolicited electronic marketing under section 69 of POPIA. You will not receive messages from us about unrelated products, and your number is not passed to third-party marketers. Every message we send includes an opt-out.

Your enquiry is shared with one matched FSCA-licensed advisor or insurer partner. It is not resold, listed, syndicated to multiple buyers, or transferred outside South Africa except to cloud infrastructure providers bound by equivalent protection obligations.

We only ask for the fields an insurer needs to quote: age band, smoker status, income band, cover amount, dependents and contact details. We do not collect ID numbers, medical records or banking details on this site — if anyone asks for those in our name, treat it as fraud and report it to us.

You may request confirmation of what we hold, a copy of it, correction of anything inaccurate, or deletion. Email hello@lifequotes.co.za from the address you used, including your full name and mobile number. We respond within 30 days.

If we do not resolve your concern, you may complain to the Information Regulator (South Africa) at enquiries@inforegulator.org.za.
